Remove the rubber clicky button. Loosen hex screw under button. Remove bulb retaining c-clip. Slide out bulb/switch assembly. You now have a battery filled tube. Use a hammer and long hard object to remove battery. Rehone tube with sand paper, or whatever you have handy. Enjoy.
